An automatic pistol designed by I. Y. Stechkin and adopted for service in the Armed Forces of the USSR in the alternative 1951 year. Exploiting of the gun in the army has revealed a number of shortcomings -- big size of the weapon and impracticality of automatic firing. Handle with small declivity angle required some time to get used to it and wasn't good for "instinctive" shooting right off the bat. However some unknown craftsman has created a hybrid, which has been widely distributed among stalkers.
