All their positive and negative effects have long been described by the scientists and even a relatively young stalker can extract their charges for further use. The artifact looks like a reddish cloud with small electric flies of blue color and a black flicker in the center. Any person who picked up the artifact and visualized any place in the Zone, immediately move in there. However the artifact itself disappears, turns into steam and dissolves. Scientists prefer not to comment the existence of "The Conductor", they just cautiously warn that contacts with "unstable substances" can be dangerous. There have been cases when some pour souls tried to take the art out of the Zone, but it also dissolved sometimes together with the brave one who carried it. This artifact more than any other has changed the perception of modern principles of physics and structure of the Universe.
